Staff was extremely friendly, greeted you with a smile. Valet was excellent, they opened the car door for us we didn’t have to wait long for our car. The hotel was very clean, pretty, big room, tons of food and bar choices. The tv has Netflix and other networks to choose from. Bed was confortable. My husband loved the coffee maker with coffee beans. The water was a nice touch! Over all we loved our experience and we will be back!

What a Gem!!

I stumbled upon the Roost looking for a little staycation in the city with the girls. When we arrived early, Ben at the front desk checked us in and directed us to some great restaurants for lunch and dinner. When we arrived up to our room, I noticed that the king suite didn't have a sofa as reflected in the online photos so I called down to the front desk, I did not get an answer. However, within moments I received a call back from Ben and he immediately rectified the situation by sending a bellman up with keys for another room. The service was great, the rooms are spacious and clean. The noise was minimal through the halls and at night. The water was hot and the pressure was very good. All things you appreciate in a quality hotel!!!

Absolutely wonderful

The pictures don’t do this hotel justice. The rooms were VERY spacious, the staff was superb, and I thoroughly enjoyed my stay. The free water in the rooms was wonderful after a long travel day. This will be my go-to place to stay while in Detroit central to everything and surrounded by great food and nightlife, this place is a home run

Small room does not work for two

The room we had was not comfortable for two. Bed was against the wall so one of us had to wake up the other or crawl to bottom of bed to get out.
