I usually don’t write reviews but this stay was awful. The staff was unwelcoming. I did not think I would experience racism in Detroit but from check in I was greeted with attitude. It should not matter what race a person is we are all humans. Also had another encounter with the front staff in regard to a food delivery where racism was very apparent. Shame on you for making your guests feel this way. This experience was appalling.

For an extremely expensive hotel, there was no parking so you are forced to pay for valet, the room did not have a microwave, no free breakfast, and the bathroom lighting was terrible. Definitely NOT worth the money.

The rooms are too small for the price. The air conditioner barely worked and shut down in the middle of the night. So, I woke up so hot I had difficulty breathing. The lighting was poor and some switches didn't work. I was also disturbed by garbage trucks or dump trucks around 6am every morning. The bed was also uncomfortable for such a high price. The room was dirty too. Also, the staff was unprofessional and rude. I've stayed in much better places for a fraction of the price.

Really good!

Pretty good! Nice place, beautiful restaurant, cute little lobby bar, and gorgeous roof deck bar. Property is new so it was all pretty nice. Some weird stuff in the rooms, like light switches making no sense and hitting the arms of your travel partner making coffee as you slide the bathroom door open. But I’d stay again for sure. I love Corktown and it was a nice property!
