If you're hoping to zonk out as close as possible to the centre, the Crusoe's Retreat and Wellesley Resort are your best bets.

Packed to the brim with machinery, vessels and piles of neatly stacked shipping containers, the sprawl of Waidroka Bay Dock isn't too hard to find. You'd be crazy not to book your accomodation in advance, because Waidroka Bay Resort is the only hotel close by.

You might like to look into some other places to stay, such as the Royal Davui Island Resort or the Beqa Lagoon Resort. The former can be found 25 kilometres from the main streets, and the latter is 25 kilometres away. If these aren't up your alley, we'd recommend The Warwick Fiji, which is 18 kilometres from the downtown area.

Korolevu is another place where you can sit back and make friends with the room service menu. Sitting 20 kilometres west of Deuba, it's where you'll find the Namatakula Beach and the Kula Eco Park. The Coral Lagoon Fiji Resort and Maui Palms are a few of the accommodation options here. Or, you could stay in Korotogo, 40 kilometres to the west of Deuba, where you can choose from the Outrigger Fiji Beach Resort and Bedarra Beach Inn. If you stay in Korotogo, be sure to visit Kula Wild Adventure Park and Tavuni Hill Fort.

The Fiji Golf Club, Parliament of Fiji and the University of the South Pacific are just some of the sweet things to see and do in Suva. This regional centre is 60 kilometres east of Deuba and has a population of 77,000. Got more time to play with? Take advantage of the photo ops at the Mariamma Temple and Champagnat Park. You've got a great selection of hotels and lodgings in Suva, with the Holiday Inn Suva and Tanoa Plaza Suva topping out the list.

Ever spent a night on the airport floor cos you got way too excited and forgot to make a hotel booking? Both are pretty close to Nadi International Airport, which is only 75 kilometres from Deuba's centre.
