Dinner Plain Ski Resorts

Overall a wonderful stay in a beautiful location. The staff were friendly and attentive. The ski storage/drying room was much appreciated. The only thing I wouldn’t recommend was the onsite restaurant - tried it once for breakfast and found the portion sizes to be small for the high price. Dining options were somewhat limited in town for a place with “dinner” in its name but the food at the two local pubs was decent. Easy access to Hotham with shuttles running hourly.

The house is perfect and comes with a range of amenities. The wifi was a lifesaver for us. The host has also been amazing in correspondence. Highly recommended!

We had a great stay and would recommend this to anyone travelling to Dinner Plain with kids.

Wonderful property in great location.

I loved staying at Come By Chance the location was perfect for the whole family, a short walk to the beginner's ski slope and toboggan run, as well as pubs and supermarket. I was a bit disappointed at the cleanliness (toilets hadn't been cleaned properly in my opinion) and size of the living room, I thought it was going to be larger than it was. Everything else was great, with the setup sleeping 8 adults and 4 kids comfortably. Overall, the whole family thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Thanks for a great family get away, come by chance.

Very warm, cosy and comfortable. Decorated lovely with a nice feel. Great kitchen with lots of different appliances. Location excellent, carpark right next to place and a short walk to the bus and other services.
