A beautiful house in the woods.

Five of us were signed up to do the Humboldt 1/2 marathon and 5k. We were so happy to find a house with 2 bathrooms as most listings in the area showed only one.
We are an adventurous group and didn’t mind the trek to the house in the dark. For those less bold arrival in daylight might be recommended .
All in all we found the house was well suited for our needs. The wrap around deck was amazing. We found lots to do in the area and had a great dinner at the Benbow Inn.
We would have liked having a microwave in the kitchen and maybe a small Mr Coffee or Keurig with just a small amount of coffee to for that first morning after arrival. Just a thought from all of us caffeine addicts.
One other suggestion regarding the TV. For us less than savvy TV people a short basic set of directions for accessing local Tv and how to switch into streaming. If there isn’t local cable just a quick note indicating such.
All in all the house was terrific and we really enjoyed our stay.
