It's situated 1,600 kilometres west of the country's capital, Washington.

There's nothing like enjoying a sunrise at the seaside. While you're in the area, be sure to visit Tall Chief Cove, 100 kilometres to the west.

You won't have to be on the road all day to soak up some nature. Just 45 kilometres out of Disney, Natural Falls State Park is a great place to get some fresh air. More delightful surrounds are waiting for you at Bluff Dwellers Cavern, 45 kilometres away.

There's even more just down the road. Afton, 25 kilometres to the north, is popular for the National Rod and Custom Car Hall of Fame Museum and the Afton Station. Alternatively, if the Cherokee Grove Golf Course and The Cayuga Mission Church sound better to you, travel 25 kilometres northeast from Disney to Grove.

Planning to head to Claremore? This destination is 55 kilometres to the west. If you're setting up camp here, make sure you visit the Will Rogers Memorial Museum, the J.M. Davis Arms & Historical Museum and Belvidere Mansion. Also consider stopping by Claremore Lake Park and the Rogers State University.
