This city is heaving with surprises, and you'll find a good chunk of them hiding in neighhourhoods like Sindangyuk-tong. One of the best bits of travelling is the people you meet along the way. And with 10,300,000 people calling the capital of South Korea home, there's plenty of opportunities to meet a few new BFFs. To get to Sindangyuk-tong from Gimpo International Airport, catch a taxi, dump your bags in the boot and head 19 kilometres to the east. If you're arriving from central Seoul, you'll need to journey 3 kilometres east.
This city is bursting with glorious things to do, and you'll uncover many of them near Sindangyuk-tong. It's no easy task to pick the leading attractions, but Dongdaemun Market and Gyeongbok Palace are a couple you can't miss.
