This is a nicely kept but older hotel with restaurant and bar on the ground floor. Room/bathrm were very clean. Beds comfortable. Breakfast included and very tasty (regular German bkft of good brotchen, meats, cheeses, butter, jellies, Nutella, etc. With yogurt and musliex, coffee, tea, juice, etc.) Eat outside on large patio or in large bkft room. Dinner at restaurant was very good. Older decor-- heavy wood, furniture. No ac but large window opens wide. Backs up to train tracks. Passenger trains are hardly noticable; freight trains are louder, but not long like in the US. Mostly German tourists (early Aug) so authentic experience. Owners speak a Rhine dialect but also some English. Be prepared to pay in Euros! No credit cards. Thank you to the young USAF family who saved us a long walk to the bank to exchange money...
