The room didnt match the pictures or description and felt a little dated, but the beds were comortable and the location was great.
This hotel was cold, the street outside was loud, there were very few amenities, there was no lift so we walked 5 stories to our room. The bathroom had a shower only and the shower leaked water onto the floor. The sink was cracked. This was a poor stay and would not recommend. It was more like a hostel with a private bath.
Generally a nice hotel and value for money. We only paid £71per night as it not bust in January. Communal areas in hotel were a bit tatty and the water in the shower was quite as hot as I would have liked. Otherwise was all good.
Very basic hotel in Dublin, especially shower. Hot water was intermittent and even then it wasn’t very warm. Only cold options for breakfast which is strange. Not what you expect when you pay £200 for 1 night.
My mother and grandmother stayed here for the weekend and both said all staff were so amazing, helpful, and friendly with them. My granny is 90 and they couldn’t do more for her. We will 100% be using Albany House again and recommending to anyone who asks about staying in Dublin City centre.
The staff were excellent and went above and beyond!! Already decided to stay here again!!

Lovely old building, in a wonderful location. Rooms in back of hotel very small, and most appropriate for a single, but quiet. Front rooms are airy and have wonderful access to daylight. The 3-4 nightclubs across the street make for a noisy, rousing evening (especially if sports events are in play) so bring your noise canceling earphones! Very nice and helpful staff.
The Albany House was easily accessible to all the areas for sight seeing. The only drawback is that there are a few clubs nearby and it can be noisy in the wee hours if you're a light sleeper.
