Not sure why this property isn’t more highly regarded on other review forums, it was reasonable priced, breakfast was nice and hot (complementary as well!), location was very central/walkable to all the main Dublin attractions and lastly the rooms were clean and modern! Majority of the other hotels I looked in Dublin basically looked the same as the Hampton but were £200-£300 extra. Overall had a great stay.

Stay was ok. Staff helpful. But one night of our stay an alarm in the ceiling went off at 6 am and then about 10 minutes after then again at 8am. Nothing like getting woke up by an alarm, called front desk as we knew it wasn’t fire alarm. Desk was no help just said we didn’t have to leave room. No explanation why or what the alarm was for. For that I doubt I’d recommend or stay here again.

Excellent hotel. Clean and good service. Loved the breakfasts. It’s a 10-15 minute walk to Temple Bar area with pubs and restaurants. After crossing the bridge, walking toward the hotel after dinner was dark and deserted at night. Walking around the area during the day is fine.

First, we had 3 people in our party. Rooms were (max guess) 15 ft by 9 feet. No rooms were larger. No storage, had to live out of suitcases and those had to be lifted on the one bed to access. Water was shut off and on intermittently form2 days in a row. No hot water on and off for 3 days intermittently. Had towels for 2 people. Had to call the desk for 2 days to get additional towels and for bedding for the small couch for our 23-year-old granddaughter. Water and coffee cups remained for 2 people despite repeated calls for 3 people.

Lovely hotel which excellent breakfast included. Rooms were spacious and well-equipped. Only downside is the area immediately around the hotel didn’t feel the safest at night - lots of drug remnants and rubbish.
