The Malahide Guest House was a lovely place to enjoy our 24 hour layover in Dublin. It was very clean, peaceful, and comfortable. In our short stay we got the chance to enjoy walking around the town of Malahide, an Irish Pub experience, the beach and the castle grounds. We also got to watch some of the Olympics in the comfortable lounge area. It was all quite nice!
Malahide is such a cute little town walkable from the Guest Rooms. Kerry checked us in and she was so sweet and helpful. I traveled with my teen daughter and she loved the intimate experience better than a large hotel.
We stayed just one night. Beds a bit soft and doors difficult to shut, but overall good option. Quick and easy to get to the airport the next morning. There were some good restaurants within walking distance for dinner. For the price, a few quick grabs for breakfast (fruit/biscuits) would have been appreciated.
Lovely place but it was a shame that the wifi was not available in the rooms, we been visiting Europe for over a month and we have not experienced this before… it’s a really downside on staying at this place .
Malahide Guest Rooms was a wonderful place to relax and spend our last night in Ireland. From the moment we arrived, Stella greeted us with a warm smile and ensured all our needs were met.
The atmosphere was serene and comfortable, providing the perfect setting to unwind after our travels. The hospitality and attention to detail made our stay truly memorable. Highly recommended!
The room was lovely and it was a plus to have access to a small living room, activity area and parking. We were seriously disappointed in the fact that one family's three children were allowed to have a several hours long screaming, shouting, fighting, crying session (outside other guest's windows) without the hosts asking them to control their kids and quiet them. It made for a miserable evening. The lack of host presence and intervention was inexcusable.
We had the best time! Malahide is a beautiful area with delicious restaurants. The staff was welcoming and everything was clean. We will totally stay there again when in the Dublin area.
Host was friendly and welcoming, knowledgeable about the area, very helpful when needed, and made this very well appointed home an excellent place to stay!

Very friendly host. Space felt safe for a solo female traveller. Great for travellers that need a feeling of ‘home’ as there’s a cure living room and dinning room to use. Highly recommend.

This property was beautiful! Very close to Malahide castle and gardens and just a ten minute walk to the village. Our host was kind and had lovely touches to make the place feel like home. From Dublin City center it was a bit of a drive, but I would still recommend this place to anyone. You don't want to miss out on Malahide!
