Comfy and Clean Rooms at the Motel 6
I stayed overnight at the Motel 6 for business and it was very comfortable. The rooms were clean and staff friendly. And a real bonus was being in walking distance of the Duluth Grill! I enjoyed my stay.

Great inexpensive option
Clean, updated and comfortable. Perfect for one night stays, great for pets as there is no carpet and the price is perfect with all the other hotels so expensive now.

We arrived early and just out of curiosity i went to see if we could check in early and no buggie if we cant but we were told our room was being cleaned and they did have rooms available, but wed have to pay a 25.00 early fee. We chose to just wait it out. Once we were in we noticed a thick area of mold and mildew under a lip in the shower which is noticable. Theres no way no one has seen it the build up was wild. And our floors were thick with dirt. I used a towel to wipe the floor and it was black. I went to the front desk and i told the attendant after this attendant ignored us till i called her out around the corner. We could hear her phone. Her response to this was, "And what do you wabt ne to do about it" we were offered a new room but it honestly seemed like wed just end up in the same situation in a different room late at night. Needless to say. Spend the extra 50.00 to go somewhere else. Wild. Awful service.

Facility was run down and dirty. Mold in bathroom, on the ceiling and in the bathtub where it wasn’t cleaned properly. Towels Had hair all through them, still Trash in the room from prior Occupant. If I could have not stayed here I wouldn’t have but I was 1100 miles from Home and every hotel was booked for some school function so the price was also $520 for two nights in this dump. Oh did I mention the bathroom Door was literally falling apart at the seam? Like it was damaged with water? Maybe? And it was coming apart. Great for a normal $69 a night hotel.

The only good thing about this motel is that it's close to downtown Duluth.The building looks old and outdated, both inside and out. Poor lighting outside especially at night. The front desk clerk must not like her job. She did not greet me, pretended like she never saw me when there's no other guests waiting. Then she looked at me after about 5 minutes wait and asked, "What do you want?" She definitely seemed as if she does not want to be bothered. I told her I have a reservation and asked her how her day was. She just replied, "It's fine". Without giving me all the usual information about my stay, she just handed over my keys and told me, "Down the hall to the right." I went exactly what she had said but couldn't find the room, came back to the desk and she's gone from the front desk. We finally got into the room, it's got a musty odor to it, the beds were uncomfortable, and the toilet takes a long time to flush. It clogged the morning we have to check out. Overall, good location but we had a bad experience. Will not stay here anymore on our next trip to Duluth.

Always a good place to stop when I come in to Duluth and want an inexpensive room for the night. Morning coffee in the front office. Close to highways and next to a gas station/convenance store. Will stay again

It was Good For a Motel 6. Rooms are updated nicely. Only thing I didn’t like was they didn’t supply Conditioner. I forgot to bring my own and they didn’t have it.
