We enjoyed the eye voew access to the event we went there for. It was clean and the service was great. The VIP breakfast was awful. I was excited to order their suggested pancakes. They looked and smelled amazing until i cut into them and found them burnt on the underside. Not a good start to my day or end of my stay.

We were put on a dog, friendly dogs barking all around a dog came out of their room charged us was very uncomfortable was not a pleasant day. We checked in late, checked out early. There was no free breakfast as was advertised on the site. We will not go there again. It was not a good value.

Second time at Pier B proved to be spectacular. Close access to downtown for entertainment, food and shops. Great views from the hotel hot tub with wood burning fires at night along the pier. Silos restaurant on site is an easy choice for dinner with a bar to watch the game or catch up with friends.

I generally don't provide negative feedback on hotels but I have to say... considering this is a 'resort' hotel, I was pretty shocked we weren't advised that they were fixing ALL OF the showers on our floor AND we were awoken by the sound of JACKHAMMERING ONTO CEMENT at 8:45am... again with NO NOTICE. Less than relaxing way to spend your anniversary. Otherwise....Nice hotel, clean room, cool location. Too bad we won't be staying again. Just be sure you ask in advance how much construction they're doing while you're there
