THIS PROPERTY
This is a large (approximately 2000 square metres), peaceful, attractive corner property, with well-maintained beautiful gardens. The cottage is an original mill house, dating from the early 1900s. It has been renovated and redecorated to provide very comfortable modern living. The cottage is located on the edge of town, overlooking the State Forest, yet an easy walk from the centre of Dwellingup.
The mill house is wonderful in any season: in winter, after an invigorating walk in the jarrah forest, relax in front of a wood fire with a glass of wine, while a fragrant stew bubbles on the stove; in summer, enjoy a cool drink on the front verandah overlooking the bush, after a day spent exploring the nearby Murray River in Lane Poole Reserve; spring and autumn offer wonderful weather to explore the bush, discover wildflowers, including many varieties of orchids, and relax in the bird-filled garden.
You can remain comfortable in the mill house, no matter the weather. There is a wood-burning fireplace with a glass door, as well as reverse cycle air-conditioning/heating. The 2 larger bedrooms & the kitchen have ceiling fans installed. Also portable heaters and fans are provided, according to the season.
