Rooms need updating

The rooms were very out dated and needed some major updates in the rooms and especially the bathrooms. The side fire exit couldn't be operated from the inside of it was closed fully. There was a sign saying sorry for the inconvenience, the door can only be operated from the outside. Defeats the object if you need an emergency exit to vacate the premises.

I received a good price on the hotel. The whirlpool was murky and looked dirty. It was also lukewarm. We had another guest come into our room with their key card and our door was locked. The guest picked the wrong room but the key card worked on our room. When asked about this, the employee on duty said that this happens from time to time. Very disappointing.

The sink in the bathroom barely drained. The side entrance closest to our room was broken so we could only use the front door which was a distance. It was sleeting outside so apparently that was the reason no one had any tv all night or the next morning (Direct TV). Beds were extremely hard. The phone line in the room to the front desk was very static sounding and hard to hear. Only positive I can think of was the shower worked well and the breakfast was decent. The common areas appeared clean and maintained.

Poor care since new ownership

Very outdated and not near as nice as it used to be. We used to stay here frequently like 8 years ago and it's clearly changed owners. The rooms aren't as clean and the breakfast isn't any good. It used to be a great place but we won't be going back.

Doors broken so entry to rooms all through front door making it difficult to get to your rooms if you had things to carry. Fire exits used to be regular exits they are now only emergecy exits at one end of building. Breakfast trying to get dispenser for waffle mixute cam out with waterwater

What were they smoking when they rated this hotel. It ranks with the motel 6 ratings - No hand or face towels, refrigerator didn't work, toilet didn't work most of the time, security doors didn't lock.

I’ve stayed here three times now mainly due to convenience, price and it being pet friendly as I travel with my dog often. I can appreciate that the hotel owners have made upgrades to the breakfast area and lobby and I do feel there is an effort made to be hospitable. There have been some maintenance issues that don’t seem to be a priority. Once the smoke detector in my room had been pulled out of the wall, wrapped in a plastic bag, and rubber banded shut and housekeeping must not have noticed this. The jacuzzi in my room had no plug for the drain so could not hold water. Management seemed perplexed as to how to fill the tub. The lobby bathroom has been out of order all three times I’ve stayed there. The first time I tried to check in, no one was at the desk, no one responded when I rang the bell or called the hotel phone and I waited for at least 10 minutes until someone came from down the hall carrying a plate of food.
