The home is set up perfect for a relaxing getaway with peaceful views of the river. It's a ranch home with stairs to the basement laundry. Enjoy the beautiful evenings on the large covered deck.

Free parking on site with easy access to East Peoria, Peoria & Peoria Heights for shopping, dining and attractions.

The river/lake is a river/lake, not a pool. Swimming is at your own risk. There is an area for a fire pit, also at your own risk. Owner is not responsible for any injuries. The beach is a mix of sandy and rocky. There may or may not be shells. It depends on the weather and season. Water shoes would benefit if planning to go into the water.

PARADISE
Love Love the peaceful surrounding of the river, watching beautiful sunsets in the evening with conversations and a glass of wine. We are four sisters in laws on our annual trip we are in our70's and 80's. This was the second time staying there, first one by a different owner. Such a peaceful, beautiful and comfortable river house. Plan on next renting next year.

This was the third time we have stayed at this house. We come in to town to visit family and this is our favorite place to stay. Very clean, better than advertised. Very quiet neighborhood and you can’t beat that view! Looking forward to our next stay at this house!

Great stay after Christmas!
We were visiting family in East Peoria after Christmas and needed a home for us, our daughter, son-in-law and their 18 month old. Hotels are convenient with a toddler. This was the perfect answer. Very homey and great views. The 2nd bathroom is a bit small and in the laundry area. That was the only surprise but all worked out fine. Good to know this is an option when visiting our family there. Thanks!

Nice Visit
We had a nice visit at this waterfront rental. The house felt fresh and clean, and very updated. The view was very peaceful from inside the house. The location is nice - far enough from the city to feel relaxed but close enough to quickly get to restaurants and activities. The owner was very quick to respond when we lost power after a storm, and was very quick to update us throughout the day until power was restored that night. It was very nice to be able to use the garage opener and park inside each night. One drawback, at least for our family, was the layout, but others may not mind it. There is not a master bedroom, and while bathroom near the two bedrooms has a beautiful claw foot tub, it was not convenient for showers for us with its wrap around vinyl curtain. The other option is a walk through the utility room to the other bathroom on the other end of the house. On the other hand, the heated floors in the bathroom with the tub were delightful!! Overall, we enjoyed our week on the river.

Lovely waterfront view
This is a very comfortable home with a great water view. The beds and furniture are very comfortable and the kitchen is well equipped. I liked being able to park our car in the garage but the highlight was the front room with large windows taking advantage of the view. I enjoyed watching the Canadian geese and other birds and the groundhog that lives in the backyard was fascinating. I wish the beach area was cleaned up a little more but overall a wonderful place to stay.

Girls Trip Reunion
My friends and I have an annual reunion have way between all of us. The Riverside Paradise was the perfect girls get away. We loved sitting out and watching the sunset, watching the fish splash near the beach. We loved what felt like seclusion, but still enjoyed being close to activities and restaurants. We’ll definitely be back next year.
