Manning Park Hideaway 3 Bdrms, Hot tub + Woodstove

Located in the Cascade Mountains @ the east entrance to Manning Provincial Park, this all-season getaway is only 2.5 hrs from Vancouver - 1 hr from Hope. The area enjoys dry, warm summers + snowy alpine winters. Manning Park remains the most accessible & diverse outdoor destination in SW British Columbia. The cabin is a short stroll to the Similkameen River and in Pasayten Wilderness Area. Only 20 mins from front door to ski lift where you'll find the best snow quality this close to Vancouver.

We have a Comfy 10 year old rancher style cabin with 3 Bdrms which includes 4 queen sized beds (fishing rm has queen sized bunk beds) 2 full bathrooms, kitchen is outfitted for all your cooking needs and living room boasts 2 large couches and woodstove to cozy up to. We 'Welcome you to our Hideaway'!

We are situated on a 1/2 acre in a Riverside Subdivision at East Gate 10 mins to Manning Park Resort (much closer than Sunshine Valley)

Kick back and relax...or Hike, Snowshoe, Ski & Explore! Suitable for sledders and ATV Riders as well.

Emphasis on outdoor living with covered decks and a lounge patio with comfy furniture, woodstove, hot tub, dartboard and foosball table. We love the nature setting and alpine fresh air here. Come unplug & unwind! Meet our resident chipmunks and feel free to feed our beloved bluejays while you enjoy morning coffee on the deck.

Our Cabin is outfitted with a diverse variety of board games, cards, books and puzzles for use on site.

We love to Unwind + Unplug! There's a TV but no cable, we have loads of DVD's and Music.

Depending on the season we may be have snowshoes and lifejackets available for guest use.

The only gas station in the area is just off the highway, very nearby. If you need to gas up before you leave the hours they are open is 10 to 6 p.m. They also offer some food supplies and have liquor sales.

Guests are able to enjoy a fire in the inside woodstove, wood provided , and an outdoor propane fire table, 1 tank provided, (no outdoor wood fire pit use) , Fire extinguisher and safety kit provided. Please adhere to instructions provided.

COME UNPLUG & UNWIND! The Hideaway is a 12 year old Rancher Style Cabin on 1/4 acre in the Riverside subdivision of East Gate. With only 2 steps in and flat driveway its super easy for guests to load & unload.

Offering 3 Bedrooms (4 queen sized beds) 2 bathrooms and living room with 2 full sized couches and recliner, great spot to socialize, play games or cozy up to the woodstove with a good book for some R&R. The bright kitchen is well stocked for all your cooking needs and some basics such as condiments, coffee, sugar, oil & spices are supplied complimentary.

You can walk to 3 access points on the Similkameen River from our place or its an 11 minute drive to Manning Park Resort & the Visitor Centre. We suggest a drive up to the Cascade Lookout for Aaamazing Views or hiking and a trip is never complete without a visit to Lightning Lake. The lodge has a restaurant & store with supplies/liquor sales open 7 days a week and The Bear's Den pub with craft beer and tasty menu. (check website for operating times)

Home must be left as found, laundry and bathrooms are part of cleaning fee, however. Dishes to be cleaned and put away. Turn dishwasher on, please ensure the cycle is entirely finished before you vacate.

Must notify host in advance if you intend to bring a pet. pets to be on leash or pet anchor (provided) in yard, to sleep in kennel (provided if needed) To be kept off beds and furniture. Extra charge $20 per night -name and pooch picture required.

Upon check-out, please ensure that all windows + doors are closed/locked and blinds down.
