The Space...
This HIGH QUALITY Craftsman Style 3-story large home built in 2009 is perched a short 3-5 minute walk above Rosario Resort, Spa & Marina. This is not just any vacation rental but our beautifully appointed, high end & beloved indoor/outdoor home. Come relax on the wrap around deck and unwind enjoying the 15+ mile active water views. Rental area is the 2nd and 3rd floors, decks and Gazebo Pavillion, driveway & lower lawn area. Caretakers will be staying in the ground floor level apartment, using separate entrances & the 2 car garages. Plenty of guest parking in carport and designated area on driveway for 2 cars or SUV’s. Please limit 2 vehicles maximum at any given time. EV charging available in carport!
Hardwood floors enhance main floor while new carpets are wall to wall in the bedrooms, hall and stairway. There are walk-in clothing and storage closets for guest use with extra hangers in all three bedrooms. Skylights brighten all Bedrooms and Kitchen, bringing them to life sunrise till sunset. The 2nd floor Primary bedroom has sliding glass doors that open onto the covered deck patio. There are water views from the Primary King bed and even more from the huge deck. Both upstairs 3rd floor bedrooms are spacious with 3 comfortable Queen beds, a variety of pillows and 100% Cotton bedding. Front bedroom has a Queen bed and Single sofa bed and the Back bedroom has 2 Queen beds. Double sinks, a large soaker tub and separate shower enhance the Primary bathroom. The upstairs bathroom has double sinks and a large bathtub with shower.
The fully stocked and well equipped large Cook’s kitchen with fridge, electric stove/oven, microwave, dishwasher, coffee maker and garbage disposal is modern and efficient. Coffee, tea, flour, sugar, condiments, oil and seasonings are included. It is open to a great dining area and spacious and comfy living area. Laundry room has extra large clothing washer and dryer and desk workspace. Washing detergent pods and Dryer sheets are complimentary.
Adirondack chairs, slate dining table & seating area with umbrellas and Japanese Maple trees/flower planters enhance the deck area. We invite you to enjoy an upper Garden Gazebo Pavillion/outdoor gas grill/BBQ & Traeger Pellet Grill, formal dining table & open air living room with tabletop gas fireplace all with water views.

Guest Access...
O.M.G. is a short 3-5 minute easy walk downhill to Rosario Resort & Spa, Cascade Bay Beach, Marina and The Seaplane Dock. There is Cascade Bay Grill(Memorial Day thru Labor Day), The Moran Lounge, and The Mansion Restaurant for fine dining all year.
The Spa offers a wide range of massage and facial services as well as indoor 85* heated saltwater pool, 185* dry sauna, and 104* jacuzzi. For a reasonable fee, there is a heated outdoor family pool at the Marina and a heated 21+ adults only outdoor pool with Lounge service by the Spa. The Fitness Center offers daily classes except Sunday and free weights, cardio machines & equipment 8am-9pm daily.
The Cascade Bay Grill/Store(Summer only) & Mansion Boutique provide access to food supplies, sundries, toiletries, gifts and clothing.
House Rules...
1. Our community, #Rosario Estates and the City of Eastsound have 10pm-8am noise ordinances... No loud noises, loud music or loud talking outside or inside home is tolerated before 8am or after 10pm.
2. We appreciate your respecting our property as you would your own...
It is a Shoes Off Home. Please remove shoes before entering and, if you like, wear house slippers to prevent wear and tear on wood floors from shoes with pine sap and little rocks.
No littering or damaging of property in any way. Please notify Eric or caretakers if anything is broken or damaged immediately.
No fat, oil, or grease to be poured in drains or toilets and nothing but toilet paper and human waste in toilets. Clean up messes ASAP.
PLEASE LEAVE HOUSE MOSTLY TIDY! We will have it deeply and thoroughly cleaned before and after your visit. IF THERE IS EXTRA CLEANING TIME REQUIRED, there will be an extra charge of $50 per hour.
Our home rental agreement requests a Refundable Deposit of $500 to be used at our discretion.
3. No smoking or vaping of any substance is allowed inside the house or anywhere on the property. Smoke detectors in house are extremely sensitive and will be set off. Absolutely No Fireworks! No burning of candles or flames of any kind allowed inside the house. Outdoor fire tables are propane only.
4. Living room Pellet Stove, Kayaks and Master Bedroom Antique Armoire are absolutely off limits and not to be used.
5. By accepting a reservation to vacation at O.M.G., it is agreed ALL guests expressly accept FULL risk of ANY harm, damage or loss occurring while using the premises, roads and our driveway, including all other invited guests. Rosario Estates Homeowners Association members and the owners of Ocean Mist Getaway are not responsible for lost or damaged vehicles, property, belongings or valuables of O.M.G. guests while in the Rosario Estates Community. Also, the above mentioned are NOT responsible for any injury or illness which may result from being in Rosario Estates Community which extends from the Rosario water edge 2 miles up to Olga Road.
6. Garages and downstairs apartment are off limits. Caretakers will be living on ground floor. Actual guest entrance is up front deck stairs & through gated deck/patio by front door and sliding glass doors. Front door has a keyless entry locking system. Code will be sent and demonstrated upon arrival.
7. Priced at $350-850 per night for up to 8 people total. We allow up to 8 adults comfortably in beds(primary adult must be age 28+). There is a three night minimum. No pets of any kind are allowed.
8. We charge a $200 cleaning fee per stay and $500 refundable security deposit. Guests are required to lightly clean kitchen & bathrooms and tidy up house before departure. All used towels and wash cloths must be placed on bathroom floor. All used blankets, sheets and pillow cases must remain on beds. If additional excessive cleaning is required, there will be an extra charge of $50 per hour, as needed, to be deducted from $500 security deposit.
9. All fruit trees, flowers and plants in gardens, on decks, & all planters are off limits. The property is gated to prevent deer devastation of garden, flowers, fruit trees & foliage. Driveway gate is not automatic & must be closed and latched with chain after entering or exiting. Please keep in mind upon arriving, the gate opens downhill so stop with enough room for gate to swing open. Please Keep Gate Closed When Not Entering or Exiting.
DO NOT HANG ON GATE.
10. People other than those actually staying in OMG may not overnight or be on the property without prior consent. Any group gathering or parties of more than the designated people occupying the house are not allowed. This is not a house tolerating larger groups of people. Guests must be in compliance with the occupancy requirements of our Home Vacation Rental Permit, Insurer, and Local Fire Ordinances. No more than 8 designated people allowed overnight.
Care and Maintenance...
Please leave O.M.G. property and furnishings as originally found. We do ask that you remove your shoes before entering the home and, if you like, bring house slippers. Wipe up spills with rags under kitchen, bathroom & laundry room sinks ASAP. Immediately notify Eric or caretakers if anything is damaged or broken. Also, please use kitchen utensils and appliances for their intended uses only.
Housekeeping...
There is no daily housekeeping service. While extra linens and towels are included in our O.M.G. home, there is no daily maid service included. Towels, blankets and linens must not leave the premises. We ask you bring your own beach towels and blankets to take off property.
Ferries...
It is highly recommended you make Ferry reservations well in advance, especially during the busy Summer months.

Public Transportation...
There is generally no public transportation system on Orcas Island. Taxis are available. In Summer there is a shuttle service from Rosario Resort to town and ferry landing.
