Where to stay when having surgery the next day in
I stayed overnight because I was having an early surgery. The hotel was clean and quiet so I was able to sleep a few hours before my procedure. That was helpful. It was within two miles of the hospital too, and cost less than $100/night. That was important.

Crappy, but cheap, hotel
3 nights. Cleaning involved picking up used towels. Bed was never made, never more soap or shampoo, floor not swept. Nothing dusted. Basically no service. Coffee area not picked up.

They didn’t tell me about the 50 dollar deposit and was not listed. And I spilled something on the sheets and cleaned it up and took half of my deposit. Overral good but beware there is a deposit and don’t spill

Service with poorly never change sheets. Most motels are every 3 days. I used to work at one in the service really sucks but the rate is pretty good. People are very nice

No handrail on staircase
No handrail on 14 step staircase. Not easy for my 90 year old father going up and down without a handle to hold onto. Isn't a rail required by the American Disability Act (ADA) by law?

It wasn't clean. There were brown stains on the walls, and the floor was sticky. The faucet sprayed water everywhere every time you used it. The beds weren't properly made either; they didn't provide enough pillows. I just felt so dirty sleeping there.

Staff at check-in helped with my 3 bags, since they didn't have a cart available in the Lobby. When I checked out today, the same man was on duty and took my key cards, but didn't offer to help with my bags. They knew I had 2 surgeries and am still recovering from that, so they should really have a Hotel Cart or two available by the Lobby for us guests to use. Especially as a Senior who had surgery.
