We did not recieve beach view . Room looked out on a back yard, windows were filthy. I parked my car in the garage and came back to find it covered in pigeon droppings. Breakfast was poor and I went out on the Sunday for breakfast..

Just across the road from the sea very nice hotel we was in room 208 above a side road very noisy and a recycling centre opposite with lorry's making noise and lots of young people shouting and talking till 3am outside

The hotel is in poor condition, had mold on the ceiling of our room. The rest of the hotel needs major refurb. It’s not a lot to ask when you’re paying top money for a room. It’s not like it’s cheap and cheerful.

Bathroom was dirty, my husband cut himself on broken ties in the bathroom, not many staff around , fire alarm was activated in the middle of the night for 20 seconds with no explanation. I helped bar lady clear tables as she was over run with customers. I have phoof the dirty bathroom

Good location, on seafront near to city centre, no hotel parking. Breakfast is available but we had room only with sea view. Some late night and early morning noise from drinkers outside. Had a twin room, one bed comfy, one too hard. Bathroom OK but only one large towel and one hand towel provided. Reasonable value for city hotel

The hotel is very run down, paint is peeling everywhere, carpets are old, curtains in room hanging partly off and no cold water from the tap in the sink. The lift is very old and none of the indicator lights work. Windows dreadfully dirty.

Hotel is still run down - especially in the common areas. Only 2 very small and slow lifts. Room was nice and big with nice bed. Man on reception was very pleasant and checked me in quickly.

room with sea view, large and spacious, even if a little tired, get it with old building, bed comfortable, good choice fir breakfast, plenty to choose from, all self service, good bar, and us in easy walking distance to town
