Solo trip at The Market Street Hotel

I traveled from the United States alone as a young woman for business and ended up extending my trip to enjoy some time in Edinburgh. I could not have picked a better hotel! The location was absolutely magical and made everything about my trip so much more convenient, the service was excellent from start to finish. Their breakfast was amazing, the champagne lounge was to die for and most importantly their staff was caring and knowledgeable about the area and insured my comfort throughout my stay.

Beautiful hotel. Stayed in numerous hotels in Edinburgh and other cities around Scotland and this was the nicest. Good location, parking tough and navigating the area roads is challenging for Americans but this place is fabulous

Market Street Hotel

The location was excellent! Close to the Royal Mile. The hotel was so lovely. I especially loved breakfast on the 7th floor with the complimentary champagne. Staff was wonderful! Highly recommend staying here!

We had an absolutely amazing stay at this hotel and in particular the Mhor suite. From start to finish the whole experience was first class. The staff were warm and friendly and the room was to die for. Can’t wait to stay here again!

Very friendly an courteous staff, nice lobby with great view, and well-appointed room. Multiple welcome perks, including glass of champagne on check-in, and all snacks and mini-bar drinks are complimentary with the room booking. While the bed was comfortable, there were multiple sounds in the room that interrupted sleep overnight - water running from adjacent rooms, or a periodic cracking sound.

Nice little hotel in Inverness

Nice hotel right in the heart of inverness. Parking was available nearby but not onsite, but that’s inverness. Small nice room that was everything we needed. Helpful staff.

Great location. Right next to the train station and amazing views of the city from the lounge. Great place to stay in Edinburgh. Our Room had A/C which was really needed in August. Only negative is that the room was extremely small. I had to walk sideways to get around the bed. I’m a small person so it didn’t bother me that much, but for my husband it was a little cramped.
