Lovely hotel, BUT..
The hotel adjoins Tynecastle football stadium. The room was really lovely, clean, comfortable. The staff were polite and helpful. Sadly it was DOUBLE the usual price I think on account of my stay being during the Edinburgh festival. Really disappointing, especially because the room had no window.

One of the best hotel I stayed in Europe . Area is bus away from the hotel . Interior of the hotel is spacious and clean .. staff were extra accommodating ! I will always stay here when I will visit Edinburgh.

You have to stay here.
Wow! Super clean. Super fresh. Everything was top of the line. Inner room with no window, but I didn’t even notice. Bathroom very nice. I felt spoiled with such a nice room.

The interior arrangement to the hotel was odd and confusing. I guess that happens when you attempt to add a hotel to a football stadium. The desk staff were good but the restaurant staff ignored me for long periods of time which was frustrating. It's also so new that local taxi drivers didn't even know there was a hotel there.

The cleaning lady came into my room after knocking many times while I was in the shower. Then the front desk called to harass me that it was an hour past check-out time even though I still had another night to stay in the hotel. It was upsetting. While I am on vacation I don’t like to be lectured or harassed.
