Great stay!
When arrived to checkin, we were told that credit card didnt go through. The front desk attendant let us check in anyway until we could resolve the problem with hotels.com The next day the hotel was very understanding of our situation as problem was corrected. The pool/hotub was very nice and complimentary breakfast was excellent!

Our car got broken into while parked in parking lot beside hotel. Nav, was very helpful, but their camera's only point in one direction. Be careful parking, don't leave anything in your car. Otherwise, hotel stay met our needs

Clean room, comfortable bed and the usual HI Express amenities. Price point make it a great place to stay when visiting downtown.

This hotel is so grossly kept, it can be comparable to a motel. Some staff was friendly and inviting and breakfast is included which was the positive part of this hotel. The negative is the poor house cleaning services. The first room we were offered had a fitted sheet that didn’t fit at all (it was rolled halfway up the mattress), exposing the disgusting mattress under. The mattress was absolutely horrifying. The second room was better however still had major areas of filth. There was a tissue under the nightstand, we had to request refills of hand soap and body wash as they were empty when we arrived. The curtain (room 704), has what appears to be blood splatter (quite a lot). It was dusty, with spots on the mattress. Just truly horrible.

The staff were great. My shower had long black hair in it, the towels and mascara on them and the sheets were dirty on both beds, I ended up going and buying my own for the week I stayed because I was so disgusted I wouldn’t have felt comfortable sleeping on anything they gave me. I am spending another week in Edmonton and will stay elsewhere. I also don’t think a hotel should cost you almost $700 and you still have to pay $80 for parking.
