Great Location but needs some looking after...
Landmark is our go-to location when visiting Door County. The property has a great location and excellent facilities. The Suite is a water-facing corner on the main floor so it's very convenient and away from the bulk of the traffic and family noises. It is a standard layout with a small kitchen, a bathroom (with toilet and tub/shower separated from the sink which affords some extra privacy), a bedroom with a queen bed, a small dining area and a living room. Lots of windows and a small porch allow for relaxing views of the beautiful scenery.
There were a couple of disappointing aspects. The bed seems to be old and very soft. It probably should be replaced. The inside of the dishwasher has seen better days and could use a descaling from the minerals in the water. The dishwasher racks have some rust spots and look a bit worse for the wear. The toaster does not work properly because the part that holds the bread does not go down the full amount causing only part of the bread to get toasted. There are also a few spots where the walls have been repaired but not repainted. Last, the large blind on the big window needs to be looked at because all of the cords are not properly situated, causing an uneven raising/lowering of the blind.
Overall.... it was a little disappointing but not bad. Decent value for our money.
