Horrible check in

Check in could not have been any worse. Took over an hour because the girl could not find my reservation and evidently no one else was working. I ended up having to call a corporate number from email and he found the reservation immediately and wasn’t sure why the girl at desk could not find it. But he said it showed up on his end dating back to the time I made it. He gave me the confirmation number and after an hour+ standing around and now late for my concert I finally got checked in.

Excellent stay. Easy commute to everywhere I visited. If I had to mention any issue, there was a slight cigarette smoke in the bathroom. It was not overwhelming though, and went away the next day. Breakfast was good. Different options each day.

Great stay!

It was a very nice experience. I don’t think I’ve ever stayed in a hotel that the bed faced the window. We liked the layout! Breakfast was very good. All of the staff we encountered were very friendly.

Meh…

I was not greeted when I entered the building to check in. The employee barely looked up from her phone. She couldn’t find my reservation even though I showed her my confirmation. She insinuated that I was at the wrong hotel and then miraculously found my reservation and checked me in. My room was clean but there was not extra toilet paper and no full rolls on either holders. On Saturday morning, same employee that checked me in was asked by multiple guests for coffee. There was only decaf. After about 15 minutes she finally brought the coffee out. Sunday morning was a completely different experience. The employee at the desk was friendly and the coffee was filled and I saw it refilled without anyone asking.

While the hotel is pet friendly, the elevator smelled like a wet dog. There was also barking. The toilet ran, and it also leaked at the bottom so bad that I had to put a towel around it. When I brought up the concerns to the front desk, she did not at any time apologize or give me any words of comfort. There are way too many hotels in Washington to waste money there. My guess is that it is under new management from the last time that we stayed. I would avoid this hotel if you can. The gentleman in line in front of me to check out also had complaints about his stay, but again she made no comment to apologize for the poor service we had at the hotel.
