Very Helpful Front Desk Personnel

Front desk let us check-in a little earlier than usual. Was having an asthma issue and he found us a bottom floor room so wouldn't have to walk up stairs and not use the elevator due to a claustrophobic feeling because of my asthma. Because of this I was able to relax and get my asthma under control. Greatly appreciated what he did.

The room was horrible for the price we paid coffee and stale danish for breakfast we did not get sleep as it was a party outside all night people running back and forth yelling at each other had a man outside our door smoking and talking loud had to watch our car as people where partying and standing by our car we were in town for a funeral I spoke with the office in the morning they didn’t seem too concerned the second night was just as bad I will never book here again and I am starting to wonder about using Expedia as that is who I booked through if we didn’t need to stay to attend a funeral we would have left immediately

Very nice for the money

The room was not real fancy, but very nice compared to some. The bathroom was upgraded to modern, plenty of outlets in the room and the room and bathroom were both very clean. I often trot around in socks and my white socks did not get very soiled at all from the carpet. A very nice room for the money; it had a table and chairs and a desk with desk chair plus the normal amenities.

Decent place to stay

My family told me this was a rough part of town and would be full of homeless people. Thankfully that was not the case. It is very clean and orderly. I was on the ground floor and never heard a thing from people around me. It is a budget hotel, so with that perspective it's really nice. The shower has great hot water and complimentary bathing supplies. House keeping everyday. The bed was pretty nice as were the pillows. The bedding was a bit thin. But the heater in the room made things comfortable despite the sparce bedding. Breakfast is pastry or 2 cereal choices. Milk, coffee and juice. The only think that was weird for me was that some people staying there seem to actually live there. My family says, San Diego gives vouchers to the homeless to stay in hotels. Everyone was quiet and clean so it does not affect the quality of the hotel, just not something I'm used to. Next time i visit San Diego I plan to stay here again. I was here 6 nights

You can smell marijuana, sketchy people in the parking lot, loud music right outside our door, people smoking outside their rooms. Not family friendly. Rooms were clean and worked for one night but will never stay here again. I could not sleep.
