The VRBO website and owners were not in sync. The house itself was nice. The upstairs bedroom had a broken overhead fan with poor air flow. Make sure you bring laundry detergent, shampoo/conditioners, coffee and basic necessities, for they were not offered. There is only one (Roku) television in the entire house. Having a separate master bedroom on a different floor was nice. Best thing--screened in porch (overlooked parking lot). The grill was unusable and broken glass was outside under one set of the stairs. Access to two piers was lovely, however the house is located on the more "murky" side of the lake. There was no white sand or clear water within walking distance. We actually left earlier than our booked departure date. I would recommend this area for families that have children under 10 years of age. There are not a lot of things to do in the area. Prices were VERY reasonable, locally. The neighborhood was extremely quiet, the private drive was quaint and you could drive to places around, within 10 minutes. Goldston's Beach was the only good place we found for entertainment (arcade, Mexican restaurant, Dairy Queen, Original Orange Putt Putt). There was a water park, splash pad and rental places near by. The only shopping we did was at a local "Mermaid" store that was going out of business. We tried the Burney's Sweets which was worth the visit. Everything in the area closes by 5pm (lake access) or by 10pm (restaurants). There is a Food Lion & WalMart nearby.
