Liked: Cleanliness, staff & service
On the positive side, the staff was very professional and friendly, especially Isaiah and Lisa. I enjoyed talking with them. The orange juice at breakfast was very good. Plenty of parking. The TV programming was pretty good.
On the negative side, the room I was initially given had too much highway noise, so I had to spend a good deal of time with the desk agent up and down the stairs (no elevator) to find a quieter room. It turned out that all the single rooms were on the noisy side of the hotel, so I had to take a double room on the quiet side, although the agent was very professional and did not raise the rate.
The heater was also noisy and had no thermostat to automatically turn off when it was warm enough. I always had to turn it off manually.
The beds weren't as firm as I had hoped, and I had to call for more blankets because they were too thin.
I had to call the front desk three times over three days to get service on my bathroom light, which started flickering at first, then went out the next day.
The hot and cold settings on the bathroom faucet were reversed from normal (normal is hot on the left, cold on the right). Very annoying! And the faucet was
too close to the edge of the basin and hard to pull up. Also, the towels were too rough!
The pool and hot tub were broken when I was there. If I had remembered to bring my bathing suit, I would have been pretty annoyed.
In short, you need to upgrade the features of this hotel!!
