Welcome to The Meadowlark. Nestled among the Oak trees in this peaceful retreat is your next weekend away. Our brand new resort offers some unique accommodations for Waco visitors. We look forward to hosting you!
The Space:
The Meadowlark Treehouse
In flight, meadowlark birds show patches of white in their tails and keep their short, stiff wings tipped downward as they flap or glide. They nest in open grasslands (meadows), weaving the blades together to make a cover over the nest.
You can enjoy a spacious covered deck with a table and ample seating at the Meadowlark treehouse. The railings for the steps and deck are handcrafted, providing beauty and function.
Inside, the treehouse accommodates two guests with its secluded sleeping area and king-size bed. The chefs among you will appreciate the kitchen area supplied with utensils, cookware, hot plate, microwave, refrigerator, and Keurig beverage maker.
Need Internet access? Individual Wi-Fi is provided in the treehouse. This is our only treehouse that does not have a TV. A complete list of amenities is below.
Conveniently located to local area attractions, the treehouse is only 15 minutes from Homestead Heritage Craft Village, Magnolia Silos, and Baylor University, to name a few.
We invite you to relax and stay a while in the Meadowlark treehouse. (And if you hear a rich, fluting song of five to seven notes—perhaps very close because you are, after all, in a treehouse—look around for a meadowlark serenading you!)
Guest Access:
Guests will access the door with a four-digit code. Please check your text/email messages for your code.
Interaction with Guests:
The structural supports for the treehouse cabins are intensely strong yet flexible. The flexibility allows slight movement of the cabin within the tree canopy if the canopy itself shifts sufficiently. You might feel a gentle rhythm from nature—but rest assured that the treehouse cabins, although elevated, are firmly anchored to the ground.
The Neighborhood:
Waco Creekside Resort
Majestic oak trees provide a restful, sun dappled environment for your stay. Our rural location is peacefully removed from adjacent commercial clutter and noise, yet is only minutes from interstate access and shopping.
Getting Around:
Please see the park map for directions to your rental.

There is a fishing pond in the center of the property that is stocked with largemouth bass and sunfish. It is catch and release only right now. We also have a double pickle ball court on site.
