Gateway to our visit to the Redwoods area. Perfect location & Check-in lady was most helpful with lots of Tips of where to go & what to do! She was excellent with assistance (& was formerly from Modesto, where we’re staying with our Kids.)

Would recommend for families!
Our stay for a long weekend was great here. While the rooms may be dated, this place more than makes up for it everywhere else. Staff is exceptional! Everything was VERY clean and the beds were comfortable. Since it seems to be older, noise is going to happen. With that in mind, it wasn't bad, just would call it "kid friendly ". Excellent location. Will definitely return someday.

The hotel was very nice, located conveniently on 101. I would ask for a top floor room next time, as you could hear the neighbours walking around at night. However, it was quiet, as the area tends to attract tourists like us who turn in early and head out early.

We had the street view from our room. Breakfast was limited, we had some gnats in our sink and bathtub drains. We let front desk know, hopefully it is taken care of. TV doesn't work and turns off every 30 seconds even though we followed the directions on how to use it. Other than that, everything else was fine. Friendly staff, plenty of parking, the room was quiet and spacious, the heating/cooling works good and beds are comfortable.

Nice hotel in a not so nice area.
The hotel is well maintained overall and the staff is friendly. We had a balcony and ocean view. The balcony overlooked a small road where we saw a lot of people walking past in the night. Some seemed to be on drugs, so the area is something you need to be aware of. The hotel does a good job of keeping the parking lot secure and they have cameras. The bed was not the most comfortable, but it was ok for one night.
