Need a little R & R? Relax at the riverfront Powder River Train Depot built in 1908 and on the National Register of Historic Places. A 3 bedroom, 3.5 bath abode boasts private North Platte riverfront fly fishing, turkeys, and deer on 42 acres, is only 5 minutes from town. Beautiful wrap around deck with sunset views. Skiing, hiking, rafting, floating, fishing, hunting, you pick. Perfect for families and gatherings of 15 people.

This is an old train station converted into a home but with many of the old features like the ticket counter, still intact. There is 1/4 mile of the North Platte River, barn, chickens, and wild animals to enjoy. We’ve stocked this unique stay with antiques, railroad memorabilia, Wyoming wildlife mounts, and the comforts of home.
There's a private patio. A kitchen is outfitted with a refrigerator, an oven, and a stovetop. A Smart television and a DVD player are provided for your entertainment, while complimentary wireless internet access keeps you connected. The bathroom has a jetted bathtub and a hair dryer. Conveniences include a desk and a microwave.

Loved the Little R&R
Our group stayed at the Little R&R while we were in Casper for a memorial service. The property is wonderful and was large and sprawling enough for us to entertain a large group after the service. The lodging was great and there was plenty of room for everyone.

LITTLE RR GETAWAY
We stayed at the little rr train station and it was exactly what we needed. We were in Casper for a hockey tournament with our boys and this was a great choice to stay here. The boys brought their xbox and they had time in between games to just relax like we were at home. The kids enjoyed playing in the yard and we enjoyed the quiet farm house atmosphere, having morning coffee and looking over the river at the mountains is a great view in the morning! One of the guys from the property brought us farm fresh eggs and of course they were great! The hospitality was awesome and just a great experience for all of us! If you want peace and quiet, and something still very close to town, this is the place! The beds were very comfortable, plenty of space, and it was only about a 5 min drive to town. I wish we could give more than 5 stars, it honestly felt like home!

Jewel by the river
The pleasure of staying at a historical site was a bonus. The grounds and venue are so uniquely beautiful. We had a family reunion and spoke with an upcoming wedding party and couldn't argue which would be more perfect. The owner was so accommodating and the home was a perfect mix of local history and rustic charm. We will de be back!
