Extremely loud noisy room. They have cement floors and wooden furniture, paper-thin walls. The sound resonates like crazy so you hear everything thats going on in the adjacent rooms.

My wife and I had a 3 night stay at the Olive. The whole experience was excellent. Check in was was quick and easy. The room was big, clean, well appointed and the small balcony was a great place for an event drink. A small item was mistakenly left - the hotel arranged delivery to our next accommodation in Portugal. Trull excellent service.

The hotel is newer. Staff was just there, not super friendly at all and inattentive. Facility is ok. Outdoor pool was open for the first afternoon but not clean and the second day it was closed. We did not use the indoor pool. There is no spa to speak of, they could call a therapist to come to the hotel. It felt like a holiday inn.

A high-end experience! Lovely, modern hotel. Free underground parking - such a bonus inside the walled city. We arrived before check in and they let us park and come back later. Be prepared, driving is tricky in the historic area. Pack your patience.

Hotel in Evora
The staff was friendly and helpful. The bedroom was very clean, comfortable and quiet. The bed was very comfortable. The breakfast was delicious. The town of Evora was lovely and we were very pleased to spend the night there when all the day trippers had gone. We wished we knew the hotel swimming pool required the use of a cap and flip flops before we went.

The locations is excellent - walkable everywhere. Our room was very large, comfortable and clean. Minimal decoration etc which we prefer. Excellent shower/bathroom. We did not have the issues with housekeeping mentioned in other reviews - room was serviced, complimentary water replaced when requested. The parking was outstanding and would be a primary reason we would stay again should we visit Évora. It is spacious, underground and easy to access and exit. The included breakfast was …?typical and not especially good. We did not try the restaurant for an evening meal as there are so many other options and the breakfast quality didn’t I still and confidence. The bar area is pleasant. Staff seemed a little bit and miss. Some very pleasant and helpful interactions and others were disinterested. But overall - we would absolutely stay again for the parking and the large, comfortable room (AC worked very well also).

We enjoyed the hotel very much. The hotel had a wonderful rooftop terrace bar, where you could enjoy a drink and be surrounded by the city. The rooms were clean and comfortable. Breakfast was amazing: great buffet with something for everyone.

Limited staffing. Only one at the desk and it took a while to register. Restaurant and bar closed the day we arrived due to staffing. No sign noting the parking garage entrance which is really not wise. Very convenient for a day exploring Évora. We stayed for two nights and arrived late after visiting Monsaraz in the afternoon before arriving which I strongly recommend. Left early after breakfast for Obidos which also worked out well. Don’t expect too much but it is fine for this. Concrete floor with no slippers etc. Minimalist but fine and very convenient. Breakfast was OK but not outstanding.
