I really enjoyed my stay at the Ashton Court. Top marks for cleanliness, friendliness and warm welcome given by the staff, and great breakfasts. The new owners are putting a lot of time and effort into updating/ decorating the hotel, and doing a great job. Superb sea views and just a short walk to the seafront. Bar open in evenings, the rear garden looked ideal for summer lounging and there is a garden seating area at the front, across the road. Pet and children friendly, plus free so-if. Breakfast was included in the price. I had a solo room. It was small but perfectly equipped with television, free wi-fi, hair drier and a very good bathroom (bath and shower). I had a very comfortable stay and shall definitely return on my next visit- better than my usual ‘posh’ hotel up the road.

A really friendly reception for me and my dog. Great breakfasts. The hotel is clearly a bit tired in places and perhaps a "work very much in progress", but it is very clean, convenient and good value for money. Dining and bar areas really nice, less so my actual room which needs updating. Heating timings very odd: too hot at 11pm and cold at 8am! I didn't know until I arrived that the dinner options are not available out of season.

Really lovely staff ,great value for money, Whenwe first arrived the lady at the reception was very professional and good at her Job. Breakfast was very good and hot 🔥 The Dinning room was lovely and clean .our room was excellent (room 201) best view of any U.k.Hotel, The sad bit was ,we had to come home , we only had 1 night this was due to work But we will.be back Kind regards John Evans A.I.H and Jane Evans
