I would have given this property a 5 except for the lack of staff person being present on the property and a lot of telephone miscommunication. We checked in at 3 o’clock and were in a hurry to change and leave for a wedding, and did not get back to our room until 1 o’clock in the morning. We discovered that we needed a plunger in the bathroom, a simple thing that should be available in every bathroom in every room. I called the number for “concierge service” and talk to a person who knew absolutely nothing about the property and was only there to transmit messages to others. I told her it was an emergency Hi. When I did not hear back after 20 minutes, I called again and was told that a member of housekeeping would be there at 6 o’clock in the morning. I said that we could not wait until 6 o’clock. All we needed was a plunger and was there one on the property. She didn’t know, and said she would call again. The third time I called I spoke to a different person who told me the same thing. There was no manager to contact and the housekeeper would be there at 6 o’clock
There was no public restroom in the facility, and I will not describe what we had to do to be able to use the bathroom In our suite. The plunger was delivered at six, we retrieved it at 8:30, after having gotten only four hours of sleep during the night, and The problem was solved in two minutes. When I spoke to the housekeeper, she told me she had received the message, (to be cont’d).
