Friendly and Helpful Staff

This is a good budget hotel - the staff was friendly and welcoming. They took care of issues quickly and efficiently. The fridge wasn't working the greatest and the bathroom wasn't the cleanest. But otherwise the stay was great and worth the money.

Nobody in the morning spoke english and they ran out of milk in the breakfast area 10 minutes after they opened and apparently didn't have anymore. The coffee machine was out of order and there was a container of instant coffee and a electric kettle out instead.

Not enjoyable stay

Staff was good but safety lock on door was broke, bathroom door wouldn’t shut, and when we woke up my granddaughters bed had about 15 ants in it. Room just felt and looked like wasn’t clean. A/C didn’t blow out cold air so was warm in room.

Place was clean and staff was professionally friendly. Only downside was breakfast was skimpy, they had no coffee, and only offered breads and waffles, no protein (egg or sausage).

It smelt like weed throughout the hotel and when we reached our room it had a potent stench like the room had not been cleaned. The hotel pool had a window that was completely broken so anyone outside could enter.We ended up only staying one night and stayed with a family member the second night.

No Rest

There was a “circus” going on above our room. The first time I called the front desk the clerk said they would take care of it. The second time I called they said they would take care of it. The third time I was told “it’s a single mom and her kids”. I guess that makes it okay to make so much noise that the ceiling shook. There are lots of places to stay in Fargo, no need to stay here and I won’t ever again. FYI, I travel with a 4 year old who I do not allow to act like an animal. A 4 year old who was woken up by the noise from above.

Needed a stop on the road trip and it did the job. Too tired to swim but the pool was open. Had access to vending machines which was super convenient for me. Breakfast was skipped as it was sugary choices. Staff were friendly. Didn’t like the area too much though but they can’t really help that. Might stay again due to the pricing and comfortable sleep. Beds were comfy and clean, bathroom was clean. Overall the room was clean I just felt like the hallway was dirty maybe it was just outdated.

The stay itself was great, the staff was helpful and breakfast was provided and offered the usual options. A little frustrated about a duplicate charge once I checked out. Attempts to fix this both with the hotel and hotels.com were not successful so far.
