Piney Woods A-Frame on Lake D’Arbonne

Piney Woods A-Frame is a cozy rustic cabin tucked away from it all to give you the solitude you've been craving. This is the prefect place for a couples get away, a girls weekend, fishing with the guys or just a solo adventure. Outdoor lovers will get the best of both worlds here! An escape to a cabin in the woods while also being right on the water. We have everything you need for a perfect getaway: 2 kayaks, a big front porch overlooking the water, a fire pit area, board games, and 2 grills.

This 1970s a-frame has been updated to give you the modern touches of home but still has the old cabin charm. The cabin sits on 1 acre with lots of outdoor space to hang out. You’ll follow a winding dirt road for almost a mile until you get to the house. The inside is small but cozy with a loft upstairs and a pull out sofa downstairs. The kitchen has everything you need to cook almost any meal. There is a propane grill plus a charcoal grill (charcoal not provided.) For those looking to fish- Gill's Ferry Boat Launch is just minutes away, a small covered boat slip provided plus a fish cleaning table & sink. Please contact me if you plan to bring a boat I can let you know more information. You must drive down a dirt road for 0.8 miles & down a steep hill to get to the house. Only small fishing boats recommended.
Make yourself comfortable in this air-conditioned cabin, which has a kitchen. Conveniences include a washing machine and an iron/ironing board.
This smoke-free cabin offers games.

Anniversary Getaway
We had a fantastic time! Perfect for a weekend getaway. We really enjoyed the deck. It was so quiet. Great bed and loved the sheets! Kitchen had everything we needed. We will stay again!

Perfect Getaway
The A-frame is just as stated, only better. Well decorated with a great little kitchen that has everything you need to make a meal (bring your own food/spices), or grill out on the deck overlooking the water. Twinkle lights around the deck at night, provided citronella , fireood for the firepit, firestarter cakes, games, Netflix,, and a loft bed my daughter loved. Also a great spot for fishing. We will definitely be back and highly recommended!!
