Flying into Gatwick this is a convenient stop over location if you are continuing on to another country. You land, travel through the airport and get to Sofitel on foot. We were able to walk around the Tower Bridge area without needing public transport

We have stayed here many years and the beds are the comfiest. The restaurants are expensive but the service is generally good. The rooms have been refurbished well but under the rim of the sink in room 583 there is a build up of black lime scale which should be cleaned. However we will return.

It's a bit overpriced for what it is. The staff isn't very proactive or particularly friendly. I called to have my AC fixed. They said they would send someone up but no one came. It's more of a 3-star hotel/

Room was next to lift operations, kept awake most of the night. Air con way too noisy, had to turn that off as well. Restaurant Le Petit Reveur avoid like the plague unless you seriously rich or you dont care.
