Cheap Hotels near Kralendijk (BON) Airport

I did not spend much time on the property besides sleep but if you're someone who is looking to explore the island this is the perfect option. The room was clean and it's in a good central location. They provide a towel that you can use to take to the beach. The restaurant on the property was delicious for a convenient breakfast on dinner (price not included). They have a parking lot for guests if you rent a car as well! I would definitely come back.

Nice, clean unit in a great location. Staff friendly and very responsive with clear communication. Pool is clean, nice size, shallow / deep ends. Only complaint is that fridge is smallish but ok in size for us, however would have liked for there to be a freezer section (ice for our drinks, ice cream, etc), I’m happy we had noticed this before doing our grocery run as otherwise would have been quite disappointed.

The staff were fantastic - friendly and helpful. When we showed up without our luggage they rang the resort's boutique manager and she came in, opened up the boutique, and helped my family shop for clothing to hold us over until our luggage arrived. The recently renovated resort was beautiful and its location was convenient to the airport and nearby shopping/dining in Kralendijk.

If you want peace, quiet and relaxation this is the villas for you. Definitely rent a car, but if you don't the local taxi drivers are AMAZING- very friendly and attentive. The pool and view of sunsets are great. If you LOVE taking pictures this is a great atmosphere for some colorful pictures. My Husband and I enjoying our stay. We would definitely stay here again.

Bonaire We loved our 8-day vacation in Bonaire at the Grand Windsock. We stayed in a beautiful, well-equipped 2-bedroom, 2-bath villa with private pool. The villa was next to the airport so we certainly were aware of planes taking off and landing (and the occasional slight whiff of jet fuel) but there are not many flights in and out of the island each day so we had no issue with it. We actually enjoyed seeing the planes coming and going. Our villa was clean and comfortable with a lovely in-ground pool and full-sized fridge with water and ice maker being two of our favourite features. Unlike what we read on this site and heard from the Grand Windsock itself our second bedroom was unlocked - very convenient for a place to stow extra luggage and set up a place to pack when we sadly needed to return home. It seems like a small thing for the resort to leave it unlocked but we certainly appreciated it and seeing it left open on our arrival made us feel valued and welcome. Housekeeping and pool service were as promised once during our stay and left things sparkling clean. Since we had our own pool we only swam in the main pool once but it was very nice too. While staff were kind and friendly, service is “island time” so adjust your expectations here and elsewhere on the island. We walked over to the ocean club most evenings to watch the sunset and also to snorkel a few times. Our large extended family of 12 very much enjoyed our time at the villa. The house was clean, the beds were comfortable, the pool and property were so nice. The snorkeling out front was excellent. Communications with the owner were easy and Eva the property manager was so friendly and helpful. Our only complaints were a lot of bugs/mosquitos and the noise from the restaurant next door is a little disruptive in the two bedrooms that are on that side of the house. Neither of these are the owner's fault, just something for future guests to be aware of.
