Our room was large, and the staff was friendly and helpful. It is a quick walk over the bridge to the heart of Florence, and there are many good dining options nearby.

Very interesting property. Seemingly in a old house, with a beautiful court yard and numerous interesting common rooms. Location is great as its close to downtown but just over the river so not as busy. Okay walk to train station and all attractions but buses are also available. Lots of local shops and farmers markets on Sundays, great to check out. Food options were pretty good but downtown has more. Staff was fantastic and very helpful. Room was clean, good facilities, and was comfortable to hangout in. Bathroom was good as well, clean and well maintained. Bonus - hotel was close to old photo booth, worth doing BUT note that it starts taking pics the second you pay you need to be on the stool to get in the photo. Overall great value for our price - would recommend to anyone.

The room was okay for the price. The staff brought up the luggages using their staff elevator. The bathroom was quite small but the shower was nice & strong. The a location was okay as it was walking distance to many restaurant options.

The hotel is actually a private residence in a decent neighborhood in Florence. Proceeds from room rentals are used to help people with various types of handicaps. The single room I occupied was fine for a solo traveler, but, be aware that the rooms were not cleaned at all over the 3 nights that I spent there. Also, the hotel is only staffed from 8:30 a.m. to 8 p.m. On my final night at the hotel, I blew a fuse and had no electricity in the room and there was no one available to help so I had to stay in the dark until staff came in the morning. Hotel staff that I interacted with was extremely friendly and helpful in assisting me with moving around the city. If you're a budget traveler or only need a room for a night, this would be a good option, but, if you are in Florence for more than a night, I would look for another place to stay.

Great place to stay to enjoy the local atmosphere
Very walkable to major attractions and surrounded by good food options. Having stayed in a shared accommodation prior to arriving into Florence, this was a great change! There's also a cute "wine wall" just next door that serves a good selection of regional wines. The only downside is that it's located a little further away from the train station. So if you are travelling heavy, the cobble stone pathways around the city area aren't the friendliest on your luggages.

We had a great stay at Foresteria Valdese di Firenze - Casa per Ferie. The property grounds were very beautiful and the location was conveniently located. We walked to all the notable destinations in the area. Our room was very clean and the staff were so friendly and welcoming. Would recommend staying here!

It’s a good place for the price. It’s in a safe neighborhood and takes 15 minutes to walk to the SMN train station which is great for us since we used the train and tram to go places. It takes about 10 minutes walk to Ponte Vecchio and maybe 15 minutes to Duomo and Uffizi. Staff is very helpful and nice. There’s no microwave or fridge here though . I’d like to stay here again .

The location was perfectly situated to the touristic sites and very affordable, and the service was generally very helpful. The AC was a bit tricky to figure out, but they helped us out. The accomodations were "budget", but enough for a short low cost stay in Florence.

Beautiful historical hotel with great safety. Quiet but still very close to the city center of Florence. The AC in the room was perfect for after naps after walking around all day. Traditional Italian hotel Clean Friendly service Perfect for families Could not be more happy for a hotel that was not a chain. I would say, it was the perfect place for a taste of Florence.

This was our first hotel upon arrival and it was wonderful! Monica, Ginebra and Anna Lisa were so helpful and fun to talk to. Location is amazing-steps away from Brunelleschi’s Santo Spirito! Removed from the more overstimulating Centro, but close to everything. Place to store your luggage. Spacious courtyard. Try il libro de arte di Dori for stellar fresh pasta family owned. Just be prepared for a very small bathroom. It’s worth it though.

Close to everything, friendly staff
Very nice place close to the city centre and other beautiful places of Florence. Check in was easy and hassle free and everyone was friendly. I was able to store my bag for free on my day of departure making my last day exploring much more comfortable.

Best hotel in Florence for the price
There is excellent communication from the time of booking. Super responsive nice reception staff. Hotel is perfect with an excellent location to all the sites. Can't recommend enough if you can get in. Very popular place and I can see why. Wonderful experience!
