Renovations were nice. Only 1 or 2 people with luggage can squeeze into the elevator. Plenty of hot water and good water pressure. Beds were somewhat comfortable. Cold A/C. However the ceiling unit in our room dripped water onto the floor while running. We just put some towels on the floor. Great front desk staff and service. We asked for ice and they went to the bar(it was closed) and got it for us. Convenient location to the train station and to the central market. Second time we have stayed here

Literally feels like a home away from home. Staff are also so kind and helpful, the hotel is modern in a historic city and very walkable from Santa Maria Novella train station and the major sites around town. The room was very clean and bathroom was very spacious. The hotel offers breakfast which had a good spread and if you’re an early riser or need to get to the airport early they have to go breakfasts before 6am. Be warned if you have large suitcases there’s a lot of cobble stone in Florence so you may have to pull your luggage around but once we checked in staff brought it into our room when ready (if you’re there before check in). Elevators/lifts are a little small for 4 people and adults, 4 adults max but the stairs are wide to allow room if you’re on a lower level floor

Great hotel, clean with that Venetian rustic vibe. Staff was very helpful. They had geeat cocktails at the bar. I enjoyed that very much. Walking distance to.St Marks Square and Rialto Bridge. Great restaurant in front of the hotel, and small shop with sandwiches and gelato (perfect for lunch) behind the hotel. I enjoyed my stay here.

They need to do renovations with the mattresses and the overall look of the hotel, as well as the elevator is way too slow.
