The staff here were simply FANTASTIC! I cant say enough wonderful things about them. PLEASE NOTE: there are 2 flights of stairs to get to the lobby and another if you are on the 3rd floor. Getting luggage situated was a struggle. If you are fit and travel light its fine. We had 4 suitcases so less fine. It's definitely older (there is an actual door key) and no frills. It was clean and we had no complaints except the lack of elevator. It was centrally located and we walked everywhere

I appreciated that this hotel is central and very accessible, with a very friendly helpful staff on site. The room is not luxurious, but clean and spacious- and most importantly, quiet! I would absolutely stay here again.

Avoid at all cost!
Booked a 2 night stay at this hotel. Before arriving, they communicate to utilize a parking garage as there’s driving restrictions in Florence and can’t access the hotel with a vehicle. When we booked the parking garage, they informed us they opened at 7:00 am and needed 1 hour to get the vehicle. This wouldn’t allow us enough time to drive to the airport to make our flight. When we reached out to the hotel (well within the cancellation period) they told us the owner wasn’t in until the morning. The issue was being pushed, hotels.com was also advocating for us due to the situation and the length of cancellation given but the owner refused to refund the second night. It was bad enough we were robbed of our money, but the icing on the cake was the construction- removing of ceramic tiles which was extremely noisy, our room was beside the front desk which you heard everything, and the bed was by far the worst I’ve seen in a hotel. Extremely hard, and rooms outdated as the wallpaper was peeling. The location is good, but there’s plenty more hotels in the area. We’re frequent travellers and this is by far the worst hotel we’ve ever stayed in. Hoping to save someone a terrible experience like we had. Avoid at all cost!

What a Gem!! Perfect location, walkable to everything. Wonderful breakfast buffet, they even had gluten free croissants avail! Most importantly the Staff! So kind, helpful, funny and attentive! As an added bonus there is a cute little terrace on the roof where you can relax and enjoy a glass of wine. We loved everything about this property and would highly recommend. #Amore 💜

The lobby was on the second floor. Four flights of stairs. There was an elevator after two flights, however it was small and could not hold a lot of weight. Nor did it look very safe. So the check-in and check out process were difficult with luggage. We had a junior suite. It was spacious and clean but there wasn’t much furniture and the the furniture that was there was not in the best of shape. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

Excellent staff- very gracious and helpful. Great location on a quiet street (with great restaurants), super close to to Arno, the Uffizi, the Ponte Vecchio - walkable to all other sites. Spacious room with high ceilings, charming view.

**Hotel Review:** Had a wonderful stay! The hotel was incredibly welcoming, clean, and full of character. The location was perfect for exploring the city.
