Great Location
We were a family with three young children. We stayed in a family room which had a second bedroom and a lovely terrace which added to the overall space. The rooms were a little small. There was one TV and two bathrooms. There was lots of storage space. The breakfast buffet was good with lots of variety. We had a difficult time finding the hotel as the street it was on was not very direct. The overall location was excellent. It was within walking distance to the train station and the main tourist sites.

Very nice surprise.!!!
I arrived in train to Florence and the hotel couldn't be more near, i walk to blocks and i was there!!! The room was very spacious, the bathroom has a bathtub!!!! good wifi (5 euros 24 hrs) comfortable beds, big towels. The nice thing about FLorence is that you can go enywhere walking, and this hotel was 10 min from the Duomo. Good Hotel.

Hotel was well located a short walk from station. Quiet area. Nice room, bathroom well fitted nice shampoos and shower gels. Good seating area outside room which we used as we did not have a balcony. Would stay there again

We had a very nice stay at the Embassy. On arrival the gentleman on the desk was helfpul, but perhaps could have been a bit more friendly. All staff though were professional and good. The breakfast staff were extremely efficient and helpful. On a personal note, and I know this run against the current trend, I would prefer a much smaller selection of food, but of better quality. Therefore, some really good fruit juice, bread and croissants and really hot tea and coffee would be preferable.

I have nothing to complain about. The service is excellent, the location is good (very close to the train station, so if you are arriving by train it's just a short walk to the hotel), the amenities are great. We had a skylight in our room and that was a nice surprise. Also, the bed was huge (the mattress was a little hard though) and the pillows very comfortable. Breakfast was pretty standard and the coffee was excellent. If I could change anything at all about this hotel, would be to have free wi-fi (wi-fi costs EU8 for 72 hours, which is very cheap but not free). If I ever went back to Florence I would stay there again.

Weekend Away
Booked this hotel for a weekend away in Florence. Hotel was close to station and a ten minute walk into town centre. We booked a junior suite, but was put into what I can only describe as a closet! Avoid room 404 as it had no windows only skylights! On the whole as we were only there for two nights and out most of the time we coped ok and the rest of the hotel was ok but hardly 4 star as listed.

We could hear the next room talking ...worst motel we stayed at in our 7 week Europe holiday. Breakfast was a joke.Ran out of everything..not enough tables..bread stale...the toaster was a grill and you had to put your bread in a metal holder and turn by hand ( like cooking over an open fire ) water temp changes every two seconds in the shower.Location is good for train station .You have to pay for wi - fi.Not recommended .

A Very good hotel, very close to the Main train station and most public transport (although you can walk most places). Shame we didn't have more time in Florence. Great breakfast. Would I stay again - YES. Would I recomend it to others - of course.

Lovely hotel and wonderful staff in great location. The problem were the beds which were unbelievably hard, and the children's beds almost impossible to sleep on for the metal bumps and hard bits and were very inferior quality.. Breakfast was great and staff very kind. The room was generally clean but it was obvious that from lack of time the cleaner missed essential areas which were left thick in dust i.e the top of the bed headboard, bed side tables etc. Location was perfect for seeing the sites of Florence, within walking distance if walking causes no difficulties.

Nice surprise.
Very nice little hotel, very convenient to the main train station. A little off the beaten path in terms of experiencing "central" Florence, but easily within walking distance. The staff were phenomenal, very pleasant, courteous and helpful.

Cleanly room with new bathroom furnishings (great shower!). The breakfast spread was huge and impressive. The hotel is about a 10-15 min walk from the Duomo / central Florence which was perfectly fine although the area outside the hotel (near the train station) does get a little sketchy at night.

Unfriendly Front Desk Staff
If the front desk staff, had been friendly or helpful, we would have enjoyed our stay here. The hotel itself, and the upkeep of our room was fine. However, it is unacceptable when the front desk staff does not even look up to say hello when you arrive. We waited for quite a few minutes while the 2 men at the front desk finished a conversation. Subsequently, almost every time we passed the front desk, no one would greet us. For us, especially when in a foreign country, you look to the hotel staff as a helpful and welcoming resource. We felt like the front desk staff (different people at different times of day) just did not want to be bothered by their customers. On the other hand, the cleaning staff, would always say hello when you walked by. We had a question about operating the room temperature controls that the cleaning staff told us should have been addressed by the reception desk.

Good place for a family
The place was nice but the front desk people were not as friendly and helpful like they don't want to be bothered. The room was big to fit all 4 of us comfortably. Breakfast should start early like at 7 AM not 7:30 to accomodate people that have early tours. We ended up buying our breakfast even though it was free because our tour was at 8pm and we had to be at meeting place 15 mins before the departure time.

This Hotel was surprisinly a nice size room compared to most of Italy's small rooms. Very clean, staff was helpful and accomadating. It is conveniently located near the train station and close to some sightseeing. There are supermarkets and laundry stores close by for your travel needs as well. Their breakfast had a wide selection and eggs. Would stay there again.

Excellent hot breakfast, Wi-Fi reception and bathroom. Many public rooms with domed red brick ceilings and chandeliers including our beautiful room .Well worth the money. We would definitely stay here again.
