Overall the property looks great. Front desk guy was courteous and fast. Unfortunately, when I got to the room and grabbed the tv remote a cockroach hiding beneath it ran to the back of the dresser and disappeared. I sealed my luggage and slept in my clothes.

After our stay, I looked at some of the other reviews and, to be honest, I was surprised. This is a hotel that runs under $130 a night with breakfast included. You have to keep your expectations realistic. You get what you pay for — and in this case, you actually get more. Some folks just don’t seem to understand that. If you’re looking for something “over the top,” then go spend the extra money somewhere else. For the price point, this place more than delivers. Don’t disparage something you don’t fully understand — sometimes you’ve got to appreciate good value when you see it. We stayed at the Park Inn in Florence, South Carolina after being on the road for half the day, and honestly, it was just what we needed. The lobby was clean and welcoming, and the room was large, spotless, and smelled amazing — not that stale hotel smell you sometimes get. Everything was neat, fresh, and comfortable. The TV was huge, the Wi-Fi worked great, and we could finally just relax. Breakfast was way better than expected — waffles, eggs, sausage, cereal, plenty of coffee — everything hot and fresh. For the price, it was more than fair and definitely better than what we’ve had at other places lately. But what really stood out was Daniel at the front desk. That man was an absolute gem — friendly, funny, and just easy to talk to. The kind of person you instantly like and could sit down and laugh with. People like him are rare these days, and I truly believe he made our whole stay better!

Nice, clean, quiet place. Very helpful night staff, we were towing a trailer and arrived late after a long day of driving; they quickly checked me in and gave direction on the best & easiest place to park the truck and trailer. Also, grass areas all along the property to walk our dog.

The staff was very nice. Breakfast was very good with a make your own waffle. They also offered eggs, potatoes, bacon, smoked sausage, muffins, cereal, juices and coffee. 24 hr coffee station. Room was clean, bathroom was clean except bottom of shower (shower pan) needed a good scrubbing or maybe just stain remover. Also needed mildew remover on the caulking area around shower pan. The rest of the bathroom was very clean. Bed was very comfortable.

Heavy rain prevented us from getting soaked. hotel should have larger overhang over front door. Walls inside our room had rain water leaking inside from roof. Hotel had very comfortable beds and very quiet location.

The curtains were missing hooks for the rods. The air conditioner made continuous grinding noises interfering with sleep. Worst of all, the curtains were made to prevent closing all the way, and extremely bright security lights made it look like daylight in the room all night.

The front desk staff accommodated all of my requests. The property was quiet at night. Breakfast could have been better; the seating area needs to be updated as some benches are ripped, etc. The treadmill in the fitness center was not working during my stay.
