Just seems like the hotel is trying to cheap out on quite a few things, like getting you to feel guilty about them cleaning your room and opting out for 1 free drink. Also the LAST THING you want after a long day of travelling is having to check in yourself it just seems a bit lazy and not what you’d expect from any hotel let alone a 4 star hotel. Also rooms are just a bit bare. I know it’s a semi budget Hotel but I would at least expect somewhere a bit better to hang clothes and maybe a fridge. Also it seems like the shower was an afterthought in this room after everything had been done. It was clean but definitely not what you would expect from a 4 star hotel. Location is average everything is walkable distance however I’d say be as close to the river as you can.

I enjoyed my stay, only the construction going on around the property was a bit of an inconvenience other than that, it was a great place. Totally recommend Ruby Bea Hotel, I will definitely be back!

Paid over £250 per night to stay here. The rooms unfortunately let the hotel down. No warmth or romance to the room. When in Florence you’d like a bit comfort for that price but it felt like stopping in student accommodation, not in a nice hotel. Poor.

This hotel was fantastic. Super clean and the staff were beyond helpful and very friendly. The breakfast was superb and the cocktails at the end of a long day were great. The only downside to the hotel is they currently don't offer any food outside of the breakfast and when you':e been travelling all day it was too late to find something to eat on the night we arrived. Apart from that you couldn't fault the hotel or staff. Once the tramline extension is completed outside it will be a great addition for easily getting to the hotel from the airport withour spending €36 euros on a taxi. Would highly recommend as it is 20 minutes walk to all the main tourist attractions and is extremely close to the main bus routes including the Citg Sighseeing options.

This is a glorified hostel and I would not recommend a stay here. The building smells and they try to mask the smell with perfumed air. It’s such a strong scent that I started to swell in the face and was sneezing non-stop. It was extremely challenging to have a good night rest with the perfumed air. We also did not have hot water for 2 days of my stay. The staff didn’t even notify the guests. Completely unacceptable customer experience- at a minimum notify your guests if the building has issues that you are aware of and trying to fix or manage. A hotel without running hot water is completely outrageous and even more appalling that the guests have to find out by trying to take a shower and not being notified in advance. The rooms were clean, but the hotel does not provide irons, slippers, coffee machine or drinking water for the guests. 1 iron can be shared by all guests located in one room on a specific floor. For coffee, tea, slippers, water bottles etc there’s a vending machine. This hotel is like flying spirit airlines- you have to pay every step of the way for basic items that typically come standard with other hotels.

This new property is fantastic in the area of service as the checkin area also serves coffee and drinks at night and food is available. The staff is knowledgeable and very attentive to the needs of the hotel guests. The breakfast provided was very good. Hotel is trying to be very “green” but strangely no electrical outlets are available in the bathroom for a hair dryer. On the downside the location is a long walk to the central area, the construction outside the hotel is an inconvenience, and the number of homeless people sleeping in the doorways next to the hotel are a concern late at night.

We had an amazing stay at Ruby Bea. The property is incredibly clean and modern with the cutest bar at the ground level. The staff were extremely helpful and went above and beyond to offer restaurant recommendations and schedule our 4am shuttle. We also loved that the front desk was staffed 24/7. The location is slightly further away, but still within a 15-minute straight shot walk to the duomo (which is where a lot of attractions are). We’d highly recommend this hotel and would stay again next time.

The hotel was lovely with friendly and attentive staff. However the bathroom setup leaves very little to the imagination when sharing a room with a friend or relative. Could some frosted glass please be installed for privacy of guests for the future?

Fancy hotel and that’s about it.
This is a new hotel just outside the city center. We did not have a hot water for the last two days of our stay, the explanation was because it’s a new hotel there often problems. If you’re going to open a new hotel, you better be sure to make sure everything works. we end up paying the same price whether it is working or not, which is an explanation I should’ve given, maybe we should’ve gotten a discount. There was no creamer in the “galleys” And I was told that you could not find creamer anywhere in Italy. What a joke, every hotel that we have stayed in has creamer. Everyone was very nice, but that doesn’t excuse the poor experience overall. This is one of those fancy hotels with crap amenities. Spend your money elsewhere.
