A classic Virginia red brick home where everyone can spread out!

-Easy access anywhere in Lynchburg: Liberty Univ (12 min), U of Lynchburg, & wedding venues. 7 min to Jefferson's Poplar Forest, 20 min to downtown Lynchburg, 35 min to hiking.

As foreign missionaries, we use this home on the rare occasions when we're able to sojourn "home." We hope it'll feel like your "home away from home" and that you'll experience the warm hospitality that our team seeks to provide.

AREA DAY TRIPS: Popular day trips include hiking in the Blue Ridge Mountains, driving the scenic Blue Ridge Parkway, visiting the Appomattox Courthouse, Natural Bridge, Thomas Jefferson's Poplar Forest, Virginia Safari Park, D-Day Memorial, Smith Mountain Lake and Liberty University's Snowflex Center (year-round skiing & tubing.)

*We give our guests plenty of privacy, but our co-hosts are available through messaging on the app. Our adult son lives in the cottage apartment attached to the Manor (separate entrance) should an issue or need arise.

THE NEIGHBORHOOD: The neighborhood is a serene, safe and beautiful setting with established homes and easy access around town, no matter which direction you're headed. Feel your stress melt away as you breathe in the fresh air. There's sports fields just around the corner if you're in the mood to play!
Make yourself comfortable in this air-conditioned vacation home, featuring a kitchen with a refrigerator and an oven. There's a private patio. A Smart television is provided for your entertainment. Conveniences include a microwave and a coffee/tea maker.

We had a lovely stay! The home is beautiful and just like the pictures! The host was quick to respond when we had questions. We loved the views out back and sitting on the rocking chairs with morning coffee. Would definitely stay again when visiting the area! Close to so many things, but far enough away to relax and enjoy the beautiful surroundings.

Everything you want in one place!
Jeff and his wife welcomed us upon arrival, The house was very nice, and decorated with such good taste. They went above and beyond in leaving us with coffee and snacks, as well as toiletries and other things, a very thoughtful addition for all of us, which was a real treat. Several families shared the home while in town to visit family. The stay was perfect. It accommodated everyone to gather together and still had plenty of room to go off and get quiet time and privacy. Plenty of beds and all were very comfortable. Everything was cleaned and spotless!! The decor was warm and inviting. Anything you may have forgotten, the stores aren't far away. Don't worry about host being on site, You have all the privacy one could want. We will definitely stay here in the future. One of the best rentals we've ever had! Thank you for sharing your beautiful Home. 🙂

A real house!
Spacious, clean, comfortable, updated kitchen appliances, shower had great water pressure, big backyard, back deck, sunroom, reading nooks upstairs. It was just the right balance of decorated & furnished, vs. empty space & shelves/bins for our stuff. We had a great stay!

Everything about our stay was wonderful....location, cleanliness, check-in, responsiveness of host. We cannot say enough good things about our stay. Everything was perfect. This spacious house very comfortably housed all 10 of us. It was the perfect space as we got ready for our family wedding which was just a few short miles away at Sorella Farms. Our host was kind and very attentive to all of our requests. The house offers all of the amenities that we needed. We will certainly stay here again when we are back in area. Great home, great stay. The host is very responsive and helpful. The photos and descriptions are accurate. Host is very thoughtful. We were celebrating two Liberty graduates in our family and the host left grad cookies, decorated with a class of 24 sign and left a hand written congrats card to the graduates. Above and beyond!

The house has everything (large bedrooms with privacy), fully stocked kitchen, and is very comfortable (feels like your own home). Beautiful setting, close to grocery stores, shopping, and restaurants. Only 8 mins from Liberty University and about 15 min from downtown. Host is very accommodating and easy to communicate with through emails or phone.

A wonderful visit
We were so excited to stay at this property. I grew up in Lynchburg and came home to help my parents downsize. The location was convenient and welcoming. It was just what we needed at the end of a long day of moving. The owner was communicative and available to answer any questions. I would highly recommend this property. Sister Get together
This beautiful house was perfect for our get together. We are 3 sisters from PA, OH, and NC and stayed at the Manor for 4 nights. It is a truly lovely house. So clean and beautifully decorated and is equipped with everything you could possibly need. We enjoyed many restaurants in the area, visited Poplar Forest, Bedford and the DDay Memorial, downtown Lynchburg, and relaxing on the porches at the Manor. It was really perfect for us. We would definitely stay there again.
