Overall a good stay. I had a superior room which was very big with a large bathroom with both a bath and a stand alone shower. Very quiet though it was totally off season. Tv was very new and a good size.
My only negative was the mattress in the bed was absolutely terrible sagging in the middle it was that old. Someone badly needs to address this.
We upgraded to a superior room this room was stunning with perfect views. My only complaint would be the wondows are so drafty. Yes there are lovely heavy drapes which do the job. With such wonderful views you dont want to shut them out. I understand the wondows cant be changed but like ive said on previous stays put shutters or some sort of cover over them which can be opened or taken dwn when the weather is better 🌞
I had a superior room and I was very pleased. The room was massive, the bed was comfy and the bath was lovely too.
I had a Sunday roast in the restaurant too and that was delicious. Breakfast was great too. I felt very relaxed and wish I could have stayed for longer!
The property is in a beautiful position overlooking the river Wye. The menu caters for a variety of needs. We didn't have an evening meal but the breakfast was plentiful.
It is a very short walk into town and a short drive from beautiful places such as Symonds Yat.
Will return.
the hotel is lovely the rooms could do with a refit but its ok nice fluffy white towels plenty of hot water the room was warm with black out curtains
the food is delicious the breakfast is great plenty of choice nothing is to much trouble for the staff
staff are also very friendly (special shout out to the lady who welcomes and serves in the breakfast room she is lovely very jolly and welcoming
