Everything was great except the AC unit was a little too loud. Also the shower doesn’t have a door. It made a bit of a mess. Other than that it was a wonderful stay. Really enjoyed the outdoor kitchen, and the outside area. Kids had allot of fun playing outside.

Liked: Cleanliness, room comfort
False info on Hotel.com website
The room was advertised on Hotel.com as having 2 queen beds and a queen sofa bed and sleeps 6. The room only had 2 queen beds, no place for a queen sofa bed to fit in the room. It is not the place where we stayed problem. Hotels.com have the wrong info on their website. I talked to customer support at Hotels.com. They would not address the issue. They said it is their policy.
The cabins were very clean and comfortable. We stayed there for a wedding we were attending at the Foresthill Lodge. It was very convenient. Great small town vib. Friendly people and great local restaurants.
The door was not locked when we arrived. There was no instruction how to lock the door when you go for a walk. It would have been better if the cabin was not so close to the main drag.
This is one of the best places that I have ever stayed; the rooms are clean with tons of character. I love the style and the history of the place. There is a yard with a large outdoor kitchen and other fun games and stuff. Great for the kiddos! I'd like to find a reason to go back to the area just so that I can stay at this place again! And the American River is just right down the road (if you don't mind driving a gravel road). Love it and would definitely recommend!
