Pros: The location was great. You can walk to glass beach with ease. The morning coffee in office was very good. Short distance from restaurants,gas, and groceries. Cons: The room is a little small and had no usb port plug-in had to go purchase a wall plug. When leaving before 7am to go home had to leave our room key in the room we couldn't find a Dropbox for it. Just my preference I feel the floor needed a good moping. But not a bad place to stay.

Great location but outside is rundown, rust on all AC unit. Stairs falling to pieces. I was pleasantly surprised inside the room. It's clean and you can tell they updated inside.

They were remodeling, but it was quiet for us. We wake early. It was clean, I am not sure about the neighborhood. We just slept there and got up and left. It wasn't on the beach or in view of beach. So the pic is a little misleading.

Under new ownership. Our biggest problem was the new sin hadn't arrived and we had trouble finding it. A very basic lodging. Nice beds, thick towels, very clean. No extras. No extra chairs, outside not as well kept as room was

We showed up around 2 pm at the hotel and decided to see if we could check in. We walked into lobby which was hard to find since hotel changed names and there was only one sign on door with new name (nothing you would see driving by) - well, walking in we said hello to person at desk and said we had a reservation. No hello, no welcom - the response was "check in at 3 pm only". The rooms were clean, but the property is tired. There are so many noises, it was really hard to sleep. A great thing was that there is a wonderful breakfast place right next door. Later, when we did check in, Ken was working desk and was very friendly and helpful.

The sign stating they will charge you for the towels getting dirty is ridiculous. The floor needed to be mopped and no continental breakfast are cons.

Friendly fellow checked us in and immediately offered us a new room when the first room had a small issue. The room was tidy and as described. Glass beach is a short 10 minute walk away but hard to access (and don’t steal the glass). We discovered a cute brewery down the road. Quiet town that shuts down early. Decent coffee in the lobby and an ice machine. A very basic but adequate hotel room.

Room was well kept and great maid service. Front desk was nice, but I did find the $5 per room key (if lost) a little ridiculous. The cards per Amazon cost $0.30. So the rest is just a hidden way to increase profit. Would have given four stars if not for that

We enjoyed walking to the beach, the nearby trails, and the close proximity to downtown. We could walk to some great restaurants, the Skunk Train depot, and some cool shopping spots. The front desk person was very personable when we arrived. The woman that had the morning shift much less so - couldn't help but feeling like I was bothering her when I came in for coffee. We enjoyed having a fridge and an ironing board in the room. It's a great value and we had booked another visit before we even checked out! Wish we had eaten at the cute little restaurant on the property.

Excellent checkin
Ken set the tone at checkin. He was friendly and chipper. Once we got through the quick and efficiency checkin, we found our rooms to be clean and tidy. Everything we needed for an overnight stay in Fort Bragg.
