I liked the location. I loved the decor and style! I loved that the hotel was Clean…I didn’t like the construction going at the hotel. It was very loud. I didn’t like the parking. I paid for valet because it made more sense but I think it could’ve been better parking options.

They should have posted that the property is under heavy restoration. Much of the property was closed down and the hammering and drilling was very loud all day.

We arrived well before normal check in time and we had a very small wait til an upgraded room was available for us. Thank You I understand this is a challenging time for the hotel given the renovations currently underway but the disruptions were minimal. I look forward to staying there again!

Will be great AFTER the construction!
Lovely location, nice big room but the construction going on was a surprise. I think if they had let me know in advance I wouldn't give it low stars. Once the property is renovated, it should be lovely but it was VERY loud and super difficult to get an Uber or Lyft to pick me up due to construction which made me late on several occasions. The staff did try to help but again if they had let me know in advance that would change my rating. Communication dropped for sure. Location is very central to the beach, which I loved.

As we went to the beach we were told on check in the chairs and umbrellas were provided at no cost. On arrival at beach we were told we would have to pay for the umbrellas which we declined as did many other guests on the beach who errr told the same as us. Needs to be consistent messaging on this issue.

When I booked it was not disclosed there were major renovations happening. I found out from reviews before staying but it was too late to cancel. I booked a king room, they “upgraded me” to a room with 2 queen beds. The drilling noise all day was awful. What I really struggled with was some things in the room did not work like the extractor fan or deadlock on the door. I don’t think it’s acceptable putting a solo female in a room that does not lock, when I informed reception the guy was not interested I don’t think he even wrote it down to rectify. The little things matter, new decor should not mean elevator signs installed very wonky. I stayed here years ago and looked forward to returning but was left very unhappy. The lady that checked me in late at night was lovely, the other reception staff were unfriendly and unapproachable. The location is good but don’t go until the renovations are complete and take ear plugs the soundproofing between rooms is non existent. The safe is up very high, I could not reach to put anything in it. All of that being said the room was lovely and had a nice big walk in shower but the bad outweighed the good

Walked into a huge boat show and major remodeling of the hotel. No food at hotel had to go out into the boat show crowd for dinner. upgraded us to another suite just remodeled

Hotel has full refurbishment going on. However, are selling the rooms directly beneath the floors being refurbished, so the noise of these works was unbearable. After arguments and email to the management, they moved me higher up. No gym, no pool or outside area, breakfast in a small room whilst refurb is carried out. Daily room clean likely not to happen, and at best minimal.

The hotel was under construction during our stay and the pool was not accessible. The was a computer outage making it hard to order items from the dining area of Starbucks which was the only food available. The view was wonderful noise of construction was all day.
