Stay anywhere else! I thought the review rasting was out of 5 when I booked this, but it's out of 10, and the 4.8 rating is way too high! My original room had bugs crawling on and under the bed when I first walked in. I was moved to a room that was equally suspect but without the bugs. All of the furniture was pulled away from the wall, I was afraid to plug anything in because the outlets looked overloaded, the floor was peeling so I could not be barefoot, and nothing in the bathroom would drain so I showered in standing water and the sink was a pool by the time I left. The showerr curtain looked like it had been used in an episode of CSI. It's really noisy so I didn't really sleep either. Maybe this would have been bareable for under $50 - people know what they're getting for $50. But the cost for this place is borderline criminal. I don't know what NY department inspects hotel properties, but Airway Inn should not qualify as a hotel or any sort of approved sleeping quarters. Expedia should drop this listing immediately.

This room was priced at 220, most of the hotels around the airport were around 400, which is a positive of sorts. The mattress is old and makes noise, the air conditioner barely gets the room to 80 degrees, the elevator is questionable, and the shower threshold will not keep all the water off the floor. If my company had a higher hotel threshold I would not have stayed here, but now that I know, I won’t when come back in 6 months.

Very Dirty room. No floor mats. Bathroom water clogged after shower. No tissue available for room. Door lock doesn’t work therefore every time we go out employee has to open room for us. Dirty carpet. I will not recommend my friends and family

Please people stay away from this hotel! We booked this hotel near LaGuardia airport for one night coming from out-of-town. Upon arriving at the hotel, the main lobby door was broken and didn't shut completely. Wind and rain were entering the small check-in area. there was a sign at the check-in area warning customers not to bring food into facilities. We eventually checked in and went to our room. For starters the room had a foul odor. the bed was missing pillows and looked unclean. I didn't even sit on the bed in fear of bed bugs. the bathroom tub had mildew around the bathtub caulk. We left immediately. We stayed no more than 5 minutes and returned the door key to the receptionist. Stay here at your own risk!!!

Horrible Stay - Avoid This Hotel Stayed at the Airway Inn At LaGuardia (Sept 27-29) and it was awful. Room had cockroaches, filthy shower curtain, dirty towels, peeling wallpaper, and a strong smoke odor. AC filter needed replacing, and the key card failed twice. The front desk was unhelpful, just telling guests to "write it down." After reading reviews, these issues seem common. Avoid this hotel!
